"Hi, my name is Tpr. Bullis and I have served 17 years as a New York State Trooper. But it feels more like my 7th year. There are so many things to do as a Trooper it makes the time fly by. My duties have taken me from a murder investigation in the Adirondack Mountains to a call to duty at Ground Zero and the World Trade Center disaster. The deadline to apply for the 2008 entrance examination for the position of New York State Trooper was December 1, 2007. Testing was conducted in January and February, 2008 at numerous locations throughout New York State and ended February 9th. The eligibility list for this exam can last up to four (4) years. We do not anticipate conducting another exam in the near future.
